GreenZyme® EEOR Performance
Since 1999, GreenZyme has been used to treat thousands of wells throughout the world and has a long and well-established record of performance. GreenZyme is currently in use by many of the largest global energy companies.
Wells treated with GreenZyme will typically increase daily production output by 90% or greater, and often double in production two weeks after being treated. These enhanced levels of production normally continue for a period ranging between 18 months and 3 years or longer. Because GreenZyme is a non-consumable substance and does not suffer from substantial levels of degradation, EOR operations conducted with GreenZyme outperform most other methods of EOR.
Produced water that has been treated with GreenZyme may be reintroduced into the formation however, the economics involved in recycling this treated water generally do not make this a practical option in the majority of situations.
Static Liquid Level
The static liquid level (SLL) must be measured prior to EEOR treatment with GreenZyme. The SSL must again be measured 10 days following treatment.
Initial Indications Following Treatment
Immediately following treatment, the well is capped for a short period to allow GreenZyme to distribute throughout the formation. The SLL of the well will rise. This rise confirms that the pressure has increased down-hole as a result of the release of oil. This increased volume of fluid requires that the pump jack cyclical rate and/or stroke be increased to lift the fluid.
